Hello World!
I'm For. Digital Designer

About me

About me

I am a UX/UI designer and UI developer.

I call myself a "digital designer" precisely because I conceive, design and develop digital products.

I design mobile apps, websites, landing pages and all those parts that make up a web or mobile interface such as forms, payment flows, product pages and more.

I create new components and pages or revise existing ones to make them more usable, perform better, and fit their context.

How do I do it? Each project has a life of its own, but my approach is always to understand and examine the nature and criticality of a product.

My strength is my knowledge of the code: this has allowed me to have a more technical view than a pure designer.

Design & Coding

Design & Coding

My work is divided into two major areas of expertise: Design & Coding.
The Design includes all aspects related to User Experience and User Interface: basically I design and create products that are easy to use, able to satisfy users' needs and visually appealing.
From the point of view of codingInstead, I develop the UI code and take care of the CMS setup.
I believe that Design and Coding are two essential and complementary components of every site or app: no digital product can do without one or the other and no designer can ignore their logic.
Know in depth Design and Coding it offers me a better approach to each project and an optimal result orientation.

There User experience it is the discipline which, based on a scientific method, allows us to design a new product or service in the best possible way, taking into account the user experience.
It is the first essential step of any successful product and offers us valuable support for shaping a new idea or improving an existing one.
Not only that: it allows us to optimize the user flow and reduce the margins of error, which often arise from an overly instinctive design approach, based solely on intuition.
UX does not hinder our creativity but enhances and enhances it: only through a studied research method will we obtain the best version of an idea. But where do we start from? First of all it is necessary to analyze the requirements of the idea but also to study the competitors, the benchmarks from which to draw inspiration and the problems that we are called upon to solve. Then you need to understand the users and their behaviour, with their requests, objectives and needs: this is a fundamental step, which exponentially increases the chances of success.
Obviously the preliminary phase is not enough.
It is necessary to monitor, through analytical data, the progress of the project and, on the basis of these, carry out the appropriate revisions.
However, there are no universal schemes: every idea, every product, has its own logic and, in order to obtain tangible and valuable results, it is advisable to know how to recognize specific needs, applying them appropriately.
It is a field in which you cannot improvise: to offer a professional service you need knowledge and experience.
My passion for the User Experience starts way back: I specialized at the Politecnico di Milano and, during my career, I have constantly updated myself, realizing various projects, which have enriched my personal and professional baggage.
In some cases I made products from scratch. Other times, however, I have acted in progress: identifying and correcting the problems that hindered the user flow and thus improving the performance of sites and apps. I also had the opportunity to manage and lead the User Testing phase.
UX is a fascinating subject, constantly evolving: knowing it in depth allows me to evaluate digital and physical products in depth, perceive changes, potential and possible evolutions.
  • Requirements Analysis
  • Benchmark
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Information architecture
  • Wireframing
  • Testing and review (after designing the prototype in the UI Design phase)
There UI Design it is the second phase in the realization of a project.
It allows us to give shape, color and substance to our idea.
Figma, an essential tool for a Webdesigner, allows us to create scalable, responsive and testable designs, as well as being a valuable collaboration tool.
More specifically, some features such as auto layout, the creation of reusable components and advanced knowledge of prototyping allow us to have a product that is very faithful to what will be translated into code.
This factor translates into a big plus for those who have to develop and for the stakeholders.
In this area I deal with:
  • Mockups designing in all responsive environments (mobile, tablet and desktop)
  • Creation of a design system
  • Prototyping the mockup (from static design to dynamic design) for testing, review and final presentation
The Ui Development it is the third phase in the realization of a project.
It is critical for turning design into code through the use of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP for templating.
  • Development into HTML5 code for the design structure
  • Style development in SASS for more scalable structure using variables, partials, nesting and mixins
  • PHP templating for dynamic management of some components such as Header, Footer, Sidebar and Article
We have a project with all the necessary requirements at the User Experience level.
We have an attractive interface and a perfect design system.
We also have static code.
What is missing? The last step consists in creating a dashboard that allows us to manage the contents in a practical and fast way, offering the possibility of editing even to those who are not familiar with the programming code.
In essence, it is necessary to insert the code of our project in a CMS in order to be able to modify, add and eliminate texts, images, components and all the assets that make up our digital product.
I'm able to make code templating, using the structure of Wordpress or other CMS.

Projects

Projects

These are some of the projects I have done in recent years.
In these works, I was not only involved in the design and/or development phase of the UI, but above all in the phase of research, analysis, user flow and testing.
